Current Narrative:

DES/Rehabilitation Services provides technical assistance and consultation throughout the transition process in order to identify appropriate school to post school activities and services as outlined in the IGA in the following manner:

• Provide state and regional guidance and training to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of personnel involved in providing transition services. • Increase the awareness of educational and social service resources and informal and formal supports. • Provide networking opportunities essential to establishing, building and enhancing interagency relationships and partnerships. • Develop and implement consistent procedures on how they will consult and provide technical assistance to all parties involved.
