Current Narrative:
While AHDC is available for training in all local offices and farming communities across the state, the State Monitor Advocate will work closely with them in coordinating these activities.
Furthermore, the State Monitor Advocate relays information to local office managers and staff at quarterly managers meetings and at the bi-annual statewide WIOA Partners Meetings.
Through the implementation of WIOA in Arkansas, core partners have been educated on the Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker services available through the Arkansas Workforce Centers. Again, our WIOA partners are provided information and updates at the bi-annual WIOA Partners Meetings.
Sexual Harassment Training Arkansas’ WIOA Program Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) officer has been providing sexual harassment training to the state’s Arkansas Workforce Center staff. We will require that this training is provided to the State Monitor Advocate and AHDC staff as well, beginning early 2018. This training will be periodically conducted to ensure that all new staff members have been trained as well.
