Current Narrative:
VRS and the Department of Human Services meet regularly to develop policy and guidance to blend VR, Extended Employment, Medicaid waiver and County dollars to serve more people in in need of long term supports. Emphasis has been placed on how to fund services for people currently employed in segregated in-house employment who want to work in competitive integrated settings. Videos have also been produced to highlight success stories.
