Current Narrative:
The statewide distribution of eligible individuals who reside in rural and urban areas is 20 percent and 80 percent, respectively. This data was obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau, 2009-2013 American Community Survey. Based on the final FY 15-16 quarterly progress reports for the PA Department of Aging and the 9 national SCSEP sponsors, 21percent of the participants served resided in rural area and 79 percent resided in urban areas.
