Current Narrative:
To receive unemployment compensation, Wisconsin requires UI claimants to be registered on JobCenterofWisconsin.com, the state labor exchange website, within 14 days of filing an initial claim. A completed registration includes building or uploading a resume to facilitate job matching within the JCW system. Assistance as previously described is provided to claimants if needed and failure to register creates an indefinite suspension for 30 months or until registration is completed.
