e. 6. A. Collaboration
Describe any collaborative agreements the state workforce agency (SWA) has with other MSFW service providers including NFJP grantees and other service providers. Describe how the SWA intends to build upon/increase collaboration with existing partners and in establishing new partners over the next four years (including any approximate timelines for establishing agreements or building upon existing agreements).
Current Narrative:
New Mexico attends several collaboration meetings with the agencies who serve our farmworker population and their families. Currently monthly meetings are held with NFJP 167 MET and joint outreach. In collaboration with NFJP together we host quarterly meetings and discuss updates with other farmworker agencies. Every year SMA, Foreign Labor Coordinator, NFJP, and NMSU County Extension office collaborate to host an agricultural seminar for employers but unfortunately, for past two years due to COVID restriction it has been cancelled. Currently, there is a MOU in place with NFJP and Tierra Del Sol. In the next year, SMA will establish MOU with other farmworker agencies.
