e. 6. D. Assessment of Progress
The plan must include an explanation of what was achieved based on the previous AOP, what was not achieved and an explanation as to why the State believes the goals were not achieved, and how the State intends to remedy the gaps of achievement in the coming year.
Current Narrative:
Since the previous Agricultural Outreach Plan identification and reporting of services provided to MSFWs has experienced qualitative and quantitative improvement. This is due to the SMA collecting collecting and reviewing monthly/quarterly data from various sources including, but not limited to HiRE. Use of the ES Complaint System and reporting of complaints should continue to improve for the next few years.
Upon reviewing and implementing the AOP, the SWA continues to face some challenges at the local level. The SWA continues to reinforce, and provides specific training to the local staff in reference to the identification, registration, and follow up of MSFWs. These challenges can be attribute to new staff hires and seasoned staff transferring out of the SWA.
