III. b. 6. A. iii. Explain how the State board will assist the governor in aligning technology and data systems across required one-stop partner programs (including design and implementation of common intake, data collection, etc.) and how such alignment will improve service delivery to individuals, including unemployed individuals

Current Narrative:

The MIS Unit, responsible for the systems across the LWC, collaborates with the Research & Statistics Unit, responsible for statewide labor market information. Together, they coordinate the collection and analysis of application and intake data. This data is then used to create reports for the state board, in conjunction with the leadership of LWC and all four WIOA titles.

The state board reviews these data analyses and the coordination efforts of local agencies in providing services. They then inform the governor, working closely with the governor's office to use this information to enhance the entire state's workforce development system. This includes making improvements, expanding or reducing services, and implementing federal requirements.

In summary, the state board, the governor’s office, the MIS unit, the Office of Workforce Development, and the labor market information units work together to utilize workforce data to improve and implement Louisiana’s workforce development system.
