Current Narrative:
Louisiana contracted and employs at this time one full time outreach worker. The state is looking to contract a second outreach worker but had difficulties finding qualified applicants.
The State advertised the position year around and has reached out to community organizations such as the State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Catholic Charities, and others for referrals of candidates.
Louisiana continues to provide the qualitatively equivalent and quantitatively proportionate level of services to MSFW, compared to non-MSFWs.
