Current Narrative:
The limited amount of State General Funds allocated to match the total federal dollars available negatively impacts the ability of LRS to comprehensively serve all individuals with disabilities in Louisiana seeking employment outcomes. Chronic staffing shortages also account for a reduced capacity to administer the program and serve all prospective consumers. Although LRS is not currently implementing a defined Order of Selection and is serving all eligible consumers, continued or worsening conditions as explained could result in the Order of Selection being imposed.
