Current Narrative:

Per Colorado’s Demographers office 48.73% of the population ages 55-75 live in the 10 County Denver Metro Area (Urban area of CO). The remaining 51.27% of the population lives in rural and frontier areas of the state. 

The 2022 final Department of Labor’s Quarterly Performance Report (QPR) indicates that of the total participants served by the state SCSEP grantees (Colorado, AARP and SER)  17% are from rural and frontier areas of Colorado.
