Components of the Jobs for Veterans State Grants State Plan
Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) recipients must provide a four-year state plan as a condition for the receipt of annual funding in accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 4102A(c). This plan must include responses to each of the components below.

Current Narrative:
The award process is restricted by state law, such that to operate all awards must be cash, and all cash awards must be presented directly to individuals. This means that offices (teams) receiving incentive recognition shall share equally in the overall office award, and the individual award amount shall be determined by the team composition.
The 1% of the total grant for LA is approximately $24,076.00. 50%, approximately $12,038.00 of the total Incentive Award fund available shall be awarded to JVSG funded staff as follows:
Ten percent or approximately $2,407.60 for first place;
Nine percent or approximately $2,166.84for second place;
Eight percent or approximately $1926.08 for third and fourth place;
Five percent or approximately $1,203.80 for fifth and sixth place;
Two and one half percent or approximately $601.90 for seventh and eighth place;
Thirty-five percent or approximately $8,426.60 of the total award fund available shall be split evenly at approximately $4,213.30 each between the two offices (teams of which JVSG grant funded staff may be a part). The two awards made to offices shall be split between one large office (6) full- time staff or more and one small office (5) or fewer fulltime staff.
Fifteen percent or approximately $3,611.40 of the total award fund available shall be awarded to three eligible partner agency service providers who provide services to veterans through an array of employment and training programs.
The first-place winner will receive seven and one half percent or approximately $1805.70.
The second place winner will receive five percent or approximately $1,203.80.
The third-place winner will receive two and one half percent or approximately $601.90.
Amounts may be adjusted based on the total incentive award, yearly.
