Current Narrative:
Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) served 13,994 individuals in FFY 2020 and anticipates serving about 13,600 individuals in FFY 2021 under Title I of the Rehabilitation Act, all of whom will be individuals with either a significant disability or a most significant disability under Minnesota’s administrative rule for vocational rehabilitation.
In FFY 2020, VRS served 13,465 participants who have the most significant disabilities and 529 participants with a significant disability. It is estimated that about 10,808 in FFY2021 will be persons who have a most significant disability, and 2,806 in FFY 2021 will be persons with a significant disability.
