- e. Agricultural Outreach Plan (AOP). Each State agency must develop an AOP every four years as part of the Unified or Combined State Plan required under sections 102 or 103 of WIOA. e. 4. D. Providing State merit staff outreach workers professional development activities to ensure they are able to provide high quality services to both jobseekers and employers
Current Narrative:
Louisiana launched a new professional training platform for all State Merit Staff called Success Factors under the Louisiana Employee Online (LEO) platform. Merit Staff are required to complete mandatory training and an additional 20 hours of professional development training directly related to their role and responsibilities.
The Office of Workforce Development conducts professional cross training with all partners on a weekly basis via zoom. Training sessions are recorded for future reference for all merit staff to review. All state merit staff is encourage to pursue other sources of professional development as well like Workforce GPS.
