b. 1. E. Actions to ensure that SCSEP is an active partner in the one-stop delivery system and the steps the State will take to encourage and improve coordination with the one-stop delivery system. (20 CFR 641.335)
Current Narrative:
The State will continue to review how the different WFCs advertise and prioritize SCSEP, and take measures to prioritize the program where needed. This will include ensuring that SCSEP information is visible, accessible and accurate on WTC websites. The State of Colorado’s sub-grantee and national grantee will maintain the practice of having potential SCSEP participants enroll with their local WFC prior to enrolling in SCSEP. Participants will continue to attend WFC classes that enhance/upgrade their skills. Each enrollee will look for a minimum of six jobs a month, and go on job interviews when a job developer has a possible job opening for the participant’s particular skill set. The participant must work with the job developer to set an interview. The classes and job search will continue until a job is secured. Colorado will take measures to ensure better working relations exist between the SCSEP grantees and the WFCs.
