Of Colorado’s Economic Development Districts, offices exist in the most rural regions, such as east central, southern and southwestern Colorado.  Since some counties in these areas have SCSEP positions allocated, the  State SCSEP managers will ensure familiarity of SCSEP and that the program is promoted in the offices.  Managers will also contact the offices within their respective regions to develop a plan that will maximize the employment and training opportunities for participants in rural Colorado. There may be an opportunity for the offices to become host agencies. As a host agency the office may have an opportunity to increase program visibility in rural Colorado through the assistance of SCSEP participants.
