Current Narrative:
Across the state, particularly with workforce centers, cross training efforts, collocations, and established referral processes have supported more effective service delivery across programs, yet significant gaps remain. DVR continues to see co-enrollment numbers far lower than would be expected and this demonstrates ongoing opportunity to ensure individuals are connected with multiple programs when appropriate, as well as effective coordination and documentation when individuals are co-enrolled. DVR is piloting a program with local workforce centers to implement a Disability Program Navigator, who will be responsible for supporting the partnership between the local workforce center and the local DVR office, while improving access to Title I and Title III of WIOA for individuals with disabilities and supporting coordinated service delivery across all WIOA programs.
